- There are many sights worth seeing in Serres but a day trip is not enough to visit all of them, before starting the trip we will present to you all possible sights to choose what you are more interest for.
- There are many beautiful sights. You are encouraged to bring a camera along. But if you don’t… we have a camera for you!
- Weather will not affect the operation of the tours.
- However if canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions, you will be given the option of an alternative date

Visit the Archaeological Site of Dion and The Archaeological Museum of Dion (Optionally)
This tour will take you to the footsteps of Mount Olympus. Also known as the “Home of Gods”. Dion is an area at the foot of Mount Olympus. Nowdays it is known all over the world because archaelogists discovered a very important Macadonian city. The Ancient kings of Macedonia had chosen Dion as their summer resort. There the created, centuries ago, a settlement, in the ruins of which the parts of the Ancient Macedonian civilization are evident. Archaeologists discovered an admirable civilization. The findings of graves foun in Dion area are also remarkable. Most royal tombs give away the existence of an eminent and thriving civilization. Today we can admire the ruins of thet civilization in the Archaelogical Site of Dion and the Archaeological Museum of Dion.
Visit Litohoro Village
Later we continue to Litohoro which is a smal modern town. It combines the mountain air with the sea breeze and visitors can walk between the traditional houses of Macedonian architecture, the old wooden courtyyard doors and the gabled roofs.
Visit Enipeas Gorge and Waterfalls
After the lunch break we will have the opportunity to walk around the village and through the Enipea Valley. Olympus, the highest Greek mountain, the residence of the twelve Ancient Gods, is declared a Noational Park. It is internationally known as for its important ecological characteristics and incombarable natural beauty as well as for its strong relationship with Ancient Greek mythology. The importance of the National Park has been recognized not only in Greece and Europe, but all over the world. Enipeas Waterfalls: With a beautiful plunge pool you can swim in.
Visit Orlias Gorge and Waterfalls
The Orlias Gorge start from the town of Dion, heading out from the tiny chapel of Agios Konstantinos (with its picnic tables and benches and little water source). A short forest walk takes you to the gorge where you begin a descent of around 10 waterfalls (the tallest some 28m), freefalling into plunge pools from the smaller ones and slipping down natural water slides (including a 9m near-vertical drop and 16m horizontal slide).
You’ll be expecting the adrenaline rush, but you’ll also be filled with the feeling of peace and tranquility amongst all the incredible greenery and swimming in refreshing mountain water.

Elatochori Ski Center (Optionally, Winter Season)
The Ski Center of Elatochori is found on the northeastern side of the Pieria Mountains, at the location “Papa Chorafi”, and at an altitude of 1450m. It is located in a privileged location with amazing views of Mount Olympus and Aliakmonas. It is only 8 km from the picturesque village of Elatochori, 36 km from Katerini, 474 km from Athens, 105 km from Thessaloniki and 120 km from Larissa ..
Although it is a relatively new ski resort, it has become popular with winter sports enthusiasts, who are flooding the slopes. This is due to the perfect infrastructure of the center and the wonderful nature that surrounds it.
The facilities of the Ski Center include 10 slopes with variable altitude difference and with different degree of difficulty to satisfy both experienced and demanding skiers, as well as beginners who are experiencing their potential in the most popular winter sports. There is also a snowboard and a sleigh rink. The total length of the slopes and the network of snow corridors that connect them, exceeds 12,000 m.
At the base of the Ski Center there is a new two-storey chalet, which is distinguished for its modern aesthetics, which harmonizes with the environment. There are also shops selling and renting equipment and ski equipment and a ski school.
It is worth mentioning that in the ski center there is a fully equipped first aid clinic with a permanent doctor on a daily basis.
