Wizz Air UK celebrated its first anniversary. The 3d of July started its new London (Luton Airport) – Thessaloniki route.
According to the company, this summer, the airline is expected to become the largest airport in Luton, with a market share of 41%.
WIZZ has currently marketed 8.5 million seats on 59 routes serving from Luton Airport, up 22% year-on-year.
Since the start of the summer of 2018, the Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 fleet has increased from 1 to 11 on this base, backing about 8,000 jobs in the region.
The new routes of the Hungarian low cost airline are the following:
Flights are operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from July 1, 2019.
