Sightseeing by the Monasteries & a stop at Ouranoupolis

There is a stop at about 14:00 at the harbor of Ouranoupoli where you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to wander through the picturesque village, the shops with local products and the Byzantine Tower which decorates its harbor. Food is available at all the small tavernas which will offer you not only local dishes but also byzantine and minorasian tastes.
Pilgrimage: After agreement, the ship halts in about 500 meters from the coast, according to the law. “Fathers” (monks) approach, bringing holy remnants and people piously worship them. It’s a unique moment since women are not permitted to enter the region (“state”) to worship.
Dancing your way back
Departure is due at about 15:30, our vessel will travel back to the little harbor in Ormos Panagias where it will arrive in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. During the trip our bouzouki player will play and sing for you traditional songs with a Greek aroma. He will be among you so that you will be able to take pictures with him and enjoy his music. Arrival at Ormos Panagias is due at about 17:00.
