The exhibition offers a unique variety of culinary experiences from across the globe. During the festival various stages will be hosted: Famous-name food personalities, chef demonstrations, cooking masterclasses , wine tutorials. Furthermore, exhibitors will be dishing out food and drink samples, giving to the visitors the chance to taste a variety of flavours around the world.

The Regions of Attica, Crete, South Aegean and Western Greece, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Wine Association will also take part in the festival at the invitation of the Greek and Irish National Tourism Organization. The participants will be represented by selected chefs and oenologists, who will present local recipes and fine wines of Greek land to the British public.

This is an important way of promoting Greek gastronomy abroad. It is of great interest and is part of the guidelines of the National Tourism Policy and of the strategic marketing of the Hellenic Tourism Organization for the period 2019-2020, where gastronomic tourism is considered to be a dominant axis.

During the festival, participants will be given the opportunity to present their destination to approximately 4,000 British visitors expected to attend the event.

The festival will be attended by major British tourism companies and national tourism organizations such as the tourist organization of Hungary – who will be the main sponsor of the exhibition – of Italy, Tunisia, Thailand etc., as well as internationally renowned chefs Raymond Blanc, John Torode, and Gennaro Contaldo as keynote speakers in the workshops that will take place during the course.

The festival will be held in the Business Design Centre on Upper Street in Islington, North London – just 10 minutes from Kings Cross St. Pancras International and a short walk from Angel tube station.
